Please inquire at info@herbmountainfarm if you have unanswered questions or to offer any feedback:-)

Is it ok to visit the trails and gardens without a reservation?

Please let us know ahead of time if you would like to come for a hike or sign up for a tour, as we have limited parking and have busy lives. Thank you!

Are dogs/pets allowed on the property?

No. Because this is a botanical sanctuary, we ask that you do not bring your dog/pet onto the property. Although we love animals, the impact of dogs/pets on the sanctuary is not in alignment with what we are doing here. Thank you for your understanding!

Are children welcome?

The classes we currently offer are geared toward adults. However, if you have a child (or children) traveling with you, and you would like to just come for the lodging portion of the farm, here are some things we would like for you to take into consideration before booking:

  • The stairs in Veritas Lodge may be unsafe for young children
  • There are cairns situated around the property that, if a child attempted to climb on, could really hurt themselves.
  • The botanical sanctuary is not a place for kids to run through and explore and we ask for no picking of the plants/flowers.
  • The buildings are heated with wood stoves.

If after noting these things, you believe your child (children) are a good fit, then yes, we welcome children to stay!

Will I have access to a kitchen?

If coming for an event at Veritas Lodge, you will not have access to the kitchen unless your group organizer has rented the whole lodge. There will be tea, water and coffee served in the dining room if you do not have access to the kitchen.

How do I get to the Farm?

Again, please do not just “show up” here.

If you have resisted for an event or tour or retreat, here are directions, to Please pre-read before your set off, as they may not be straight forward. To save all of us trouble, please don’t just google the place. It sends you to the wrong part of the property.
